Steve Nation is a modern day one-man-band show using live on-the-spot created loops with a contemporary pop, classic rock, roots-rock vibe and feel. He combines acoustic and electric guitars, drums, bass and harmonies to create a full band sound and feel that gets crowds of all sizes up and dancing. Steve picks from a seemingly endless collection of pop, rock, modern and classic country covers sprinkled with originals to create an unforgettable live performance where his ingenuity in looping magically reproduces the feel and energy of a complete band with no pre-recorded tracks. Having opened for numerous legendary artists including America, Styx, Steppenwolf, Eddie Money, Eric Church, The Commodores and 3 Dog Night, Steve brings his years of performing from honky tonks and arenas to crowds and venues of any and all sizes.
Steve’s musical career can not only be measured in years but by media genres as well. From Directing PBS TV concert specials with legends like The Tenors and Paul Anka to playing guitar and bass globally on some of the world’s most iconic stages. Steve has combined his musical and TV talents to help create unforgettable TV moments on countless Award Shows from The Academy Awards and CMA Awards as well as numerous full length concert DVDs like Beyonce and the Rolling Stones.
