While pursuing a career in music in Nashville, Steve further zeroed in on his love of entertainment by venturing into the television and film industry. Starting with small network country music shows, he honed his craft behind the scenes and eventually rose to direct major music specials for PBS. Over the course of his distinguished career, his directing and production credits have expanded to include some of the world’s highest-profile broadcasts and live events including The Academy Awards, In Performance at the White House and the Miss Universe Pageants.

He also spent his time working on major concert films and DVD releases for musical legends like the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Fleetwood Mac and Robin Williams, as well as exclusive specials alongside world dignitaries—notably working with every currently living US President.
